  • Locan Storage: By default, your journal entries remain locally on your device.
  • Optional Cloud Backup:If enabled, they are encrypted and backed up to the cloud.

  • Encryption: All data in transit and at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
  • Anonymization: AI training uses anonymized data, stripped of personal identifiers.
  • Your Control: You can delete specific entries or your entire account at any time in Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

  • AI Providers: We partner with trusted, GDPR-compliant AI vendors who only process your journal content to generate feedback; they do not retain it.
  • Analytics Providers:We may use third-party analytics tools for usage insights. These tools may collect non-personal data such as device info and interaction events.

  • Opt Out: You may disable AI processing or cloud backup at any time within the App.
